BizTalk Installation: 'System.EnterpriseServices.TransactionProxyException' was thrown.

When installing BizTalk 2006 on one machine, with its SQL counterpart on another machine in the same domain I had an error "Exception of type 'System.EnterpriseServices.TransactionProxyException' was thrown.".

This error means that DTC (Distributed Transaction Co-ordinator) is not installed/running on the SQL Server machine.

Either start the service or install it via the "Add/Remove Windows Components" tab under the Application Server entry.

I did. But It didn't work Frown.

Still System.EnterpriseServices.TransactionProxyException' was thrown.

Did you reboot after installing DTC, and started the service? Has the service been started on both machines too?
